Sian is a Project Architect at Carmody Groarke. Since joining the practice in 2019, Sian has worked on several cultural projects collaborating with leading clients and institutions within Europe and the UK.
Sian has developed a particular interest in sustainable, regenerative architecture and she leads the studio’s research into low-carbon building materials. She is currently working on an industry-leading project to design, develop and certify a sustainable, lime waste brick for the Design Museum Gent. She is also the Project Architect for the project’s design and delivery.
Alongside her work at the Design Museum Gent, Sian is Project Architect for Power Hall; the refreshment and transformation a vast Grade-II Listed former railway Goods Shed, which forms part of the Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry.
