Jamiee Williams works as an architectural design lead at the ‘future-living lab’ SPACE10.
SPACE10 is a research and design lab on a mission to enable a better everyday life for people and planet. They research and design innovative solutions to some of the major changes expected to affect people and our planet in the years to come. Major societal challenges, such as urbanisation, resource scarcity, climate change, food security or loneliness provide the basis for its research. In collaboration with experts and trailblazers from around the world, they examine possible solutions to these challenges. They prototype, test, and try to turn good ideas into meaningful products or services.
Space10 teamed up with EFFEKT Architects to create The Urban Village Project—a vision for how to design, build and share our future homes, cities and neighbourhoods. The project aims to allow for cheaper homes to enter the market, make it easier to live sustainably and affordably, and ensure more fulfilling ways of living together. They envision that to happen by prioritising liveability, sustainability and affordability. Jamiee will present the Space10 vision together with Sinus Lynge of Effekt Architects.
